Hi Kim The Battle for Rondo was published in Australia, and it doesn't look like it is easily available from US suppliers. You might have to order it internationally. Try searching for Battle for Rondo on eBay or Abe Books or The Nile.

How to get the writing done is always such a hurdle! I’ve recently started a blog to try to trick myself into writing more and on a consistent basis. It really gets to me that I could devote 60-80 hours a week to teaching, but now that I have all the time in the world on my hands to write, it’s proving very difficult to develop a true writing schedule.

Hey, just a shout out to all those questioning the music box’s rules. To fully understand, you need to read the book, but here are a few hints:

1. Pick the box up while music is playing = earthquake
2. Turn more than three times = dog gets stolen by evil queen
3. close lid while music is playing = well, you have to read to find that one out.

BTW, number 2. only happens if oyu turn the music box more than three times. So basically all you need to know is follow the music boxes rules and you’ll be fine. Disobey them and all hell will break lose. Sort of… Read the book if you are still unsure.

Thanks for some interesting thoughts about these books. I'm just re-reading the trilogy and, I have to admit, from memory I found the first book to be the best of the bunch, with the quality slowly declining. Having seen a few opinions to the contrary I'll be interested to see how I rate the books now. My review: Northern Lights by Philip Pullman

i loved the The Witches of Eileanan series so much i lent the books to my friend who loved them, i llooking foward to reading this series.
i would love to read more stories round the witches of elieanan series and Rhiannon’s Ride series
